LRW Cutting Tools, Inc. not only manufactures quality cutting tools but we also offer reconditioning services; taking your dull tooling and grinding them back into like new condition.

LRW does no manual grinding, all tooling is reconditioned on CNC machines. The advantage to grinding on CNC machines is that all surfaces are renewed whereas with most manual grinders they miss grinding one of the most critical parts of the tool, the face rake.

NOTE: LRW can no longer recondition groups of miscellaneous end mills. If you have ten or more end mills of the same diameter, length, material and made by the same manufacturer we can recondition them. We are sorry for any inconvience this may have caused but it is not cost effective for the customer or LRW to continue reconditoning misc. groups of tooling.

Tapered End Mill Reconditioning

Reconditioning Special Drills

LRW reconditions Drills, End Mills, Reamers and many other types of tooling. LRW has a history of saving thousands of dollars for our customers not only on New and Reconditioning tooling prices, but also with reduction in tool changes and increased productivity.

Reconditioning Endmills

LRW will take your dull tool; grind the Flutes, O.D. and End to keep that new condition. The only difference in the tool is that the O.D. Diameter is about .020 smaller and the OAL is about .050 shorter depending upon how dull the tool is. Pictured above are three boards of Ball Endmills we reconditioned we reconditioned the ball only. In this case the customer uses the ball and about .030 past the tangent point. We push the tool back far enough to take off all the dull and make the tool like new again.
